A using compresses in joints diseases is not rare practise, and base of oats are matching. For a softening arthrosis course avoid from ration sweet drinks, potato, fast food, half smoked meal, fried, salted, canned, marinades. Limiting fat food, and your diet with boiled, stewed, baked, steamed meal. Alcohol avoiding, but just red wine glass allow, avoiding gas alcohol, strong spirit drinks. Allowing all vegetables as raw, thermic manufacturing, cook and eat jelly of fruits, berries.
