Probably North livers are habit to a long winter night, but am not habit, am from Kuban since November till February, just on a short time interrupting by twilights.
Six years ago my hubby and me moved to Arctic, as good work offered for him, school for children is good, but these winter depressed me. As on begin am done repair for my home, changed all wallpapers, selected warm shadows with a big clear flower, and on Windows is garden of flowers with big leafs, and less to view on the dark street. My hubby created backlight for them with timer as on my window, turn in she is by timer, thus we are self create a morning. And in decorating interiors I used lots of wicker straw, light wood, ceramic, that receiving a south home. And in my music player I put birds sounds,and turn in theirs for alarm clock . For breakfast, I am cooking something with citric, as fresh orange juice, baked grapefruit or salad with mandarines. And still to survive for winter helps me a sbiten.Am though ,that this is a drink from a fairytale, but i found a recipe, tried and cook his for warming after frost and tone support. Two l. of water to boil, add glass for honey, mixing, are spices by taste ,which you are enjoying. Am adding dried ginger, cinnamon, pink , 2 fragrant peas, a few cones humulus, sometimes adding lemon, orange peels, pieces of apples, as for a big improvisation. And now my winter leaves me faster, and not sad, and enjoying leaving my home, and from a dark winter weather enter in a light comfortable home are to fall into place .
