Am often having a cold till a terrible throat ache, if cold displays,my throat strong hurts till a high temperature and am a very hard enduring this, just antibiotics save me. As in weakness am in bed,and could not stayed  a cold on my leg as endured.
As on the evening day am felt bad,throat hurt, at home remedies are nit had, drug store closed,am drunk a tea and visited my neighbour, asked in her for throat,but she not stayed at home, am called to my mum, and she could not helped me,as lives from my are 100 km , but she advised me, that I an avoided a cold and recovered visited my work is on the next day. As if you are entered in such hard situation and at home you not having remedies and throat hurts thus try to find in your kitchen a packet of lemon acid, if you are find his, thus you are getting a chance for fighting with disease. Dilute one packet in boiled water as till sour water leading,and this infusion gargle throat as on an every hour, as good gargle, not spitting out a water in 2 sec, as she is killing microbes and  throat cleaning and disease removing.
