Horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum)Tree up to 30 m with a dense crown. The leaves are large, palmate-complex. The flowers are medium-sized, white, gathered in pyramidal paniculate inflorescences. Blossoms in May-June. The fruit - green, covered with spines box with 1-3 inedible seeds (chestnuts).
The bark contains saponin glycoside esculin and escin. Esculin reduces the permeability of capillaries, stimulates the anti thrombotic activity of blood serum, increases the production of anti thrombin increases venous blood circulation and reduces blood viscosity estsin. Take fresh juice of the flowers of horse chestnut 20-30 drops with 1 tablespoon water 2 times a day.
