Plant-calendar.

 A very interesting his science name is Calendula officinalis a generic epithet which goes from a word Calendae is first day of month. And long time ago on An old Rome are payed attention, that  she was opening  and own inflorescences with sun sunrise, and closing after sunset. Inflorescences looking,like a small sun, and turning for following it , thus a calendula name for him is very matching. At Rusi calenula called are marigolds/nails/, thus his seeds looking,like cat s paw, or on the cutter nails.An old ROMANS and Greeks, and livers from Rusi are appreciated his healing effects.As on Middle  Europe her  called Mary s gold as Maria s golden, and thus with success used in female diseases cured, helped for womens  became mums.

 Inflorescences of calendula having are much biological active substances as triterpen spirits as monools, diols, triols, flavonoids as izoramnetine , hydroxycumarines as scopoletine, unbelliferon, esculetin, carotenoids as lutein, zeaxantine, essential oils as alfa-cadinol, T cadinol, fatty acids, water dissolving poly-sacarids as ramnoarabinogalactans, arabinogalactans .A preparations of calendula having expressed anti-inflammatory effect, lowering capillaries penetrating and by a having terpene alkaloids and flavones and anti-microbe effect. In official medicine remedies of calendula using in burns, abscess wounds, cuts, scratches, pharyngitis, angina, mouth cavities inflammations as stomatitis, gingivitis, stomatitis, and top breath diseases, and in structure for combined therapy in stomach ulcer diseases, small bowel, gall bladder, and rising metabolic liver function, as improving gall structure, lowering bilirubin concentration and cholesterol, improving secretion, and  secretive function, stimulating healing in gastrointestinal highway.

As in alternative medicine her using very popular, but its understanding in raw cases are needing using by better effective. 

Infusion in inflammatory of mucus stomach membranes use 0.5 tbl.sp. of flowers in glass of hot water, infuse 30 min.  filter, use one tbl.sp. every hour course till improving feeling.

Tincture.

 10 fl. of calendula add in 100 ml. of 70 perc. spirit, infuse for week in dark place, dilute one tea.sp. in glass of hot water, wash wounds, burns, cuts, and rub skin of face in acnes, in angina use this tincture for gargle ache throat or mouth. As on 200 ml. of water use one tbl.sp. of tincture and gargle throat for 2-3 times/day.

And for washing, inhalations.

1 tbl.sp. of fl. calendula add in thermos, add 100 ml. of the hot water, infuse 2 hours, filter, use for inhalations, lotions , as for washing sinuses ass salt coking, that to do isotonic solution of 9 gr in 1 l. of infusion, that fighting bad feelings in washing mucus and increasing effect from procedures. In gastritis using one tbl.sp. of infusion  for 3 times/day, course till condition improving.

Solution for gargle throat in angina.

Mix fl. of calendula, leafs of plantain big, herb wormwood bitter

Avoiding, side effects.

Calendula moderate allergy plant, be careful, if you are allergic, but a few peoples hard enduring calkendula, if in using inside having bitter taste in mouth, burning in epigastrium, thus stop using and visiting doctor, and avoiding her use in acute gastritis, stomach ulcer, small bowel, acuting time on , calculosis cholecystitis, child s and teenager s ages till 18 y.old, in pregnancy, in lactation time a cure calendula before ask in doctor!
