River Gravilat.

 Herb, about a which here am share are lots of us saw as on the walks in birch forests, along for lake shores, rivers, as checked attended on the stems a burgundy colours, and in different regions his calling snake s root, mighty, or overcome-herb, but a most often you are heard as Gravilat River.

And Russian call formed by a strong way distortion,  a  pharmacy material  ,which received on 16th century. And his aroma same, like in pink, and his kind too looks, like pink, thus in herbal books his called a pink root /radix caryophillatae/ or shortening caryophyllene.  Years are put in years and received gravilat and under his Russified call is not famous , this awesome herb. On  the Rus his used are snake s bites, applied rubbed leafs, and herb taken all poison , and used as calming and strengthening remedy. At modern medicine is kind of gravilat as Geum rival not using, as in compare his fellow is Geum urbanum , and theirs effects are same, thus national medicine find and using to him.

 Geum urbanum or gravilat lake use as antiseptic against pathogenic microorganisms, infusion for gargle throat in inflammations, ache gums, for healing, bleeding theirs fighting, for rubbing and washing wounds, abscess, acne.

As his often taking for restoring forces of organism after surgery, chemo, hard diseases , nerve exhaustion, insomnia, thanks for tannins as in roots his using for corns. That a same smell, like  in pink, leafs having vitamin C, A, seeds are 20 perc.for fatty acids, roots are tannins , alkaloids, red dying substance ,which getting a red-brown pigment for skin colouring, essential oil eugenol.

 2tbl.sp. of chopped roots add in glass of the hot water, cook on the weak fire for 25-30 min, remove from the fire, infuse 30 min, wrap in towel, filter, lead size till a first with boiled water , read infusion gargle throat, mouth cavity between a meal time in angina, pharyngitis, stomatitis.

 20 gr of dried chopped roots add in 150 ml. of vodka, and close  /use bottle or jar for infusing with lid/, infuse in dark for 30 days, use on 15 drops in 100 ml. of water diluting for 3 times/day for 2 weeks in chronic  fatigue, physical, nerve exhaustion, over loading, insomnia, worry, and fever fight.

Roots dried good grind  till powder, use 0.05-0.1 gr with honey mixing as analgetic, anti-inflammatory, common strengthening remedy in different diseases, in worry, insomnia, course a cure ten days.

 Cosmetic mask.

One tbl.sp. of gravilat lake ass in glass of the hot water, cook 20 min is on the water bath, cool, add slowly one tbl.sp. starch, mix good, cool. A ready mass apply on problem places on the skin a face, zones, décolleté in acne, black spots, inflammations.

Side effect, contraindications.
