Pulmonaria officinalis (Vidmonaria officinalis)Herbaceous perennial with erect rigid-hairy stems. Leaves lanceolate, pointed, rough, flowers are small, purple at first, later purple-blue color, are collected in inflorescence-curls. It blooms in April and May.
The leaves and stems contain mucus and tannins. For therapeutic purposes, use the herb, which is collected in May. It has expectorant and soothing, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and wound-healing effect.
BRONCHITIS
Mix in equal proportions grass and flowers lungwort, plucked in early spring. Boil 4 tablespoons of the mixture of 0.5 liters of boiling water and insist 2 hours. Drink 1/2 cup 4 times a day.Uterine bleeding, kidney stones
Pour 2 tablespoons of herbs lungwort 2 cups of water, heated in a water bath for 15 minutes, 1 hour, drain. Take 1/2 cup 3-4 times a day for 30 minutes before eating.
WOUNDS
Squeeze the juice from the chopped herbs lungwort. Rinse them wound. Grind the leaves of lungwort, put them to purulent wounds.
PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS
Use the recipe indicated for the treatment of uterine bleeding and kidney stones (see. Above). Infusion for the treatment of childhood tuberculosis.
Pour 4 tablespoons of crushed leaves of lungwort 2 cups of boiling water, drain and add to the liquid honey or sugar. Drink in small sips.
