In press health for April 1991, we are shared about benefit effects in lingonberry, as berries are rich with organic acids and vitamins and benefit for hypertension and gastritis cure as additional remedy. We are promised to share about lingonberry dishes, which are taste also,
Lingonberry juice .
125 gr of berries select, wash, chop, add in enamel dish, press juice, and in hard mass add one l. of water, boil 8 min, filter, in filtered infusion add sugar by taste or stevia, pressed juice add, drink cold.
Kvas lingonberry.
1.3 kg of berries selects, wash, chop, add in enamel dish, add 10 l. of hot water, mix, close with gauze or towel, mixing rare, infuse in warm place for ten hours. Filter, add diluted in warm water yeasts as on 3-5 gr, 700 gr of sugar, close gauze infuse in warm place for 24 hours, in foam getting , filter in bottles and cold infuse at for 12–18 hours.
Jam of lingonberry.
Select berries, wash, dry, of sugar, water cook syrup, put berries, cinnamon chopped pinch, or vanilla, boil on weak fire for rare mixing, removing foam for 20 min. After jam remove from a fire, without boiling keeping for ten min, cooking, removing foam , till ready.
For one kg berries are 1.75 kg o sugar, glass of water, 1.2 kg of cinnamon.
Lingonberry chiselled.
Fresh ripe berries select, wash in cold water, put on sieve, apple sweet, yellow and soft wash, chop on 1/4, cut a middle , in boiling water add sugar, put sugar, cinnamon, pink, boil syrup, cold. A part of berries put a tight layer in jar, on a top put apples layers, after again layer, again apples, ending a high layer of berries. Apples, berries pour over a cooled syrup, close a wood ring, press with a light load as stone, that top berries layer will pour over a syrup. Put in cold place dried for 6-8 days.
For 2.5 kg of berries are 500 gr of apples , 2-2.5 l. of water, 100-150 gr of sugar, 3 gr of cinnamon, 2 gr of pink.
Berries can add in cold boiled water, and sugar, apples are not adding .
