Sorrel in my family we are using for salads, soups, canning, salting, fermenting. Am using now his as cure,that in sorrel having lots for benefit substances are for organism needing as antibacterial, blood stopping, analgetic, healing, improving bowel function, liver, blood cleaning anti-scurvy effects, as using roots,leafs, roots.
Of leafs as one kg adding one l. of the hot water, stewing on water bath for 2 hours, filter,add 50 gr of sugar, evaporate till one glass, use for day on 1-2 gulps before meal against all kinds parasites in bowel.
Fresh leafs to wash a cold water, to mince meat, press juice, use one tbl.sp. for 3 times/day as cholagogue remedy in liver diseases.
Of roots are one tbl.sp. chopped dried adding 300 ml. of boiled water, lead till boiling, boil for 2 hours, filter, use one tbl.sp. for 4 times/day before meal in diarrhoea.
Of seeds. 20 gr seeds add in 200 ml. boiled water, boiling on weak fire for 15 min, filter, use one tbl.sp. for 3 times/day in diarrheas, and do lotions in burns.
