Bear berry or bearish ear (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi)A small branched shrub with creeping stems up to 1 m in length. The leaves are leathery. The flowers are pink, drooping, collected in a short apical brush. Fruits - red round drupes. Flowering in May, fruiting in July.
