When
defects of refraction of light rays passing through the cornea and lens
are refracted so that it is not focused on the retina. Some
of these defects are caused by congenital and genetically, while others
are caused by the loss of flexibility and extensibility of the front
lens and other ocular structures, which normally are elongated and
shortened in order to properly refract light rays. These defects occur singly or in combination. They may be correct glasses or contact lenses. In some cases surgical treatment. Distinguish following defects of refraction.
Farsightedness. With hyperopia the distance from the eye to the outer surface of its rear wall is too small, and therefore the light rays are focused behind the retina. Therefore, the correct focus light on close objects is impossible without corrective lenses.
Myopia. When myopia distance from the outer surface of the eye to the posterior wall is too high, so the light is focused in front of the retina, making it impossible to clearly see distant objects without corrective lenses.
Astigmatism. The usual cause astigmatism are irregularities on the corneal surface, due to which light travels at different angles and focused at different points. A clear vision of both near and distant objects without corrective lenses is not possible.
In nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism should drink juices of these vegetables and herbs: carrots, beets, cucumbers, celery, chicory, parsley, spinach, blueberries, garlic, dill. It is also helpful to eat these vegetables and herbs fresh.
When washing carefully handfuls splash cold water on my eyes (to 40 times). This exercise increases blood circulation in the eyes.
Eating fresh blueberries or blueberry jam for 2 to 3 tablespoons 3-4 times a day. Bilberry improves visual acuity and reduces eye fatigue while working.
Eating fresh berries cherries, make eye lotions from the pulp of black cherry,
Pour 2 teaspoons of bilberry leaf 1 cup boiling water, 1 hour, drain. Drink 0.5 cups 2 times daily.
50 gr. of herb euphrasia adding in one l. for hot water, infuse for 3 hours, use 0.5 glass for three times/day.
