Affirmations are incredibly powerful, but saying them is just part of
the process. As Louise said, “What you do the rest of the day and night
is just as important.”
So, what can you do to ensure your affirmations are effective? Louise recommended the following:
- Dedicate time each day to say your affirmations and be truly present with yourself.
- Use the present tense. For example, say “I have…” or “I am…” instead of “I will have…” or “I’m going to be…”
- Try to maintain a happy mental atmosphere, so the “seeds” you plant with your affirmations have rich, fertile “soil” to grow.
