As here with a family we planting as whole field of horse tail, my grandma talked about his benefit effects as how to prepare his, here is my knowledges as herb is diuretic, bleeding stopping,healing, anti inflamed, for diluting stones, lows edema, lows protein in urea.
Preparing green herb,dry in dark, as good aired room, as apply a thin layer, in low dryness and layer fat he will dark faster, keeping his till 4 years. As four tbl.sp. of chopped herb ads in 200 ml. of hot water, infuse hour, filter, drinks one tbl.sp. for 4 times/day after meal in urine stones, edemas heart, urinary ways inflamed, til two weeks course, and in strong edemas ad two weeks rest,repeat, and this remedy wash for skin damages,gargle ache throat, rub face, if skin pored, cold keeping for two days.

Extract of herb ads in vaseline or butter oil, grease damage skin, cold keeping, cook a small portions.

A fresh herb wash, chop,press juice, drink two tea.sp. in edema for three times/day as diuretic, or drip in nose at three drops in often bleeding till two days.

Salad of 150 gr young shoots of horse tail, wash a cold water,ads 100 gr of shredded carrot, green onion, dill,petroselinum, ads Fromage or mayonnaise,salt.And this herb avoids to use in nephritis, nephrosis, and ask a doctor always before use this!
